When purchasing your 1st class standard ticket in the online ticket shop, in the ÖBB App or at the ticket counter, a seat reservation is included. Since your ticket is not bound to a specific train, you still have the option of choosing a train other than your current one, in which case your reservation will be forfeited. It is also possible to purchase a 1st class standard ticket on a fully reserved train, but this does not include a reservation. Because it is generally not possible to make reservations at ticket machines, we cannot include them in the 1st class offer.
